Created by an award-winning team that includes authors Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice (Jersey Boys), award-winning composer-lyricist Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party), ADDAMS FAMILY: THE MUSICAL is a magnificently macabre musical comedy.

The Addams family musical is a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family. In the kooky, upside-down world of the Addams Family, sad is happy, pain is joy, and death and suffering are the stuff of their dreams. The Addams Family have lived by their unique values for hundreds of years and the Addams clan would be happy to continue living that way.

Their beloved daughter, Wednesday, however, is now an eighteen year-old young woman who is ready for a life of her own. She has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke, a sweet, smart boy from a normal, respectable Ohio family — the most un-Addams sounding person one could be! And to make matters worse, she has invited the Beinekes to their home for dinner. In one fateful, hilarious night, secrets are disclosed, relationships are tested, and the Addams family must face up to the one horrible thing they’ve managed to avoid for generations: change.

Featuring all your favorite Addams Family characters as well as whole host of hilarious Addams Family ancestors, and a score by award-winning hits like “Pulled,” “Crazier Than You,” and “One Normal Night,” this wonderful musical rendition of the beloved story will spook and delight audiences all year long. This school edition has been adapted beautifully from the original Off Broadway production to make it a fun show for the whole family.
